Mr. Helpful

Matthew loves to be Mama's big helper. When I'm tidying the house he will bring all the shoes to me to put in the closet, he likes to put his diapers in the genie himself, and laundry is just loads of fun! Last night when I was vaccuuming his playroom, I turned around and there was Matthew with a broom right beside me - it was too cute!!

Mt. Nemo Conservation Area

I'm ready to go...don't forget Riley! Matthew loves going to get Riley's leash when we go outside. He's also sporting his new spring coat, sunglasses, and sneakers!

Today we finished off the Halton Region Conservation Areas with a visit to Mt. Nemo. The weather has been beautiful and it was great to get outside, and out of Mississauga for the morning. I've been anxious to pick up "park hoping" where we left off last fall and take lots of day trips.

Matthew loves to get in the pack on Dad's back. As soon as Chad got it out of the trunk he started to giggle and got very excited!

Smith family at the look-off. It was a great view, but this was the only area with a rock wall at the edge of the cliff, so we were very careful when walking "near" the edge. Note that the shadow makes my belly look gigantic! Though I'm certainly proudly showing, this picture makes me look 9 months pregnant instead of 5!

We let Matthew out of the pack for the last bit of the walk and he insisted on being the one to hold Riley's leash.

20 weeks - Half-way there!!

Loving Riley!!

Matthew and Riley have been doing lots of bonding lately. They play fetch with Pinky, go for walks (Matthew always gets Riley's leash), and Matthew is always hugging Riley! This is one of my favorite pictures of the two of them!
