Yum! There was a pancake breakfast in Beaver Bank on Canada - it was great to see so many people from the neighbourhood.

Proud to be Canadian! They were super excited every time they saw a Canada flag! From the pancake breakfast we drove to Liverpool to meet up with Grammie and Grampie, as well as the Smith clan for a get together! Fist stop - Patriot Days Fair!

From the fair, we were on to Summerville Beach. The kids didn't care that the water was freezing! They had a blast getting chased by all the waves.
The kids' first race of the year was at Point Pleasant in April. Matthew was beaming the whole race and Chad carried Anna so that she could keep up. She also raced with her princess purse (which contained a chocolate muffin) - that's our little princess!
Chad did his first 1/2 in a few years at this year's Bluenose, along with Brian and Pat, the two other members of the "Beaver Bank" running club. They all did super and ran PB times, with Chad coming in around 1hr 40 min!
