Hockey Night in Canada!

Last night Matty and I watched part of the Pens/Canadians game before his bedtime. Matthew really enjoyed dancing to the Hockey Night in Canada music :-) And he actually sat and watched the game with me for quite a while - I think he is a Pens fan for sure! Too bad he goes to bed so early...but atleast he didn't have to see 4 (I think) Penguins miss the net in the shootout!! I'll have to get him a jersey for Christmas for when we watch games together.

Casa Loma

Today we went into the city to see Casa Loma with Gordon and his family. In the spirit of Halloween, Matty went in his tigger costume!

This room is being prepared to shoot scenes from an upcoming Mike Myers movie - very cool!
Scenes from Cocktail were shot at the castle.

Breaking News!

We have been "tricking" Matthew into standing for the past couple of months. But once he would realize that he was standing unsupported he would immediately grab something or sit down. Well, today he was ready to stand on his own and he was very proud of himself! It's only a matter of time now and he'll be running around...

The Look-Off

Today we did a quick tour of some of our favorite places in the Valley - first stop, the look-off! It was a gorgeous fall day and the leaves were so vibrant! Matthew fell asleep on the drive from Cathy and Sean's to the look-off so he stayed in the car with Nan while the rest of us enjoyed the view!
