Darlington Provincial Park

Yesterday the Smith's went to Darlington Provincial Park, which is about an hour away, near Oshawa. I have now visited 7 of Ontario's Provincial Parks! This one was also really nice. It has some hiking trails, fields, access to water, and great group picnicing sites for family gatherings. We hiked one of the trails and walked around the park for a couple of hours. Here are the boys taking a break on the viewing platform.

Mom and Matty on the beach - unfortunately (but understandably) there are no dogs allowed on the beach - Riley would have loved to have gone swimming.

Snack break!

Those are nice pics...was it a nice campground? We are considering this one for July and I kind of like knowing a bit more about the sites before I go. Would you recommend it?

I don't know about you but I'm so looking forward to warmer weather since winter has gone on for a very long time already.
